Apple has officially reopened the doors to its iconic Sydney, Australia Apple Store today following refurbishments to the location on George Street that began earlier this year, revealing a major redesign inline with the company’s next-generation retail store ascetic.
Images shared with 9to5Mac reveal the extent of the renovations, with Apple (as expected) adding its trademark sequoia wood tables and matching wooden shelves, bright light boxes stretching the length of the ceiling, new seating for personal set-up and Genius Bar customers as well as a large Today at Apple display and more.
Like Apple’s other retail locations in Australia, the store is running on reduced hours with safety measures in place amid the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions following the deadly spread of the coronavirus. Customers visiting the store can expect to be required to wear a face mask, undergo temperature checks, and more to adhere to public safety best practices.
