Carphone Warehouse’s Google Pixel pop-up

Carphone Warehouse has joined forces with Google to showcase the online titan’s new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.

The retailer opened its doors early to mark the launch yesterday and is hosting an exclusive pop-up shop in its Curry’s PC World store on London’s Tottenham Court Road.
On Thursday and Friday, the store is hosting all-day in-store events, live talks, music and interactive installations to mark the release of the new devices.
Visitors can also try out Google’s new virtual reality Daydream View headset, allowing them to watch films in a VR cinema or play games.

Carphone Warehouse managing director Jeremy Fennell said: “We’re really excited to be opening our doors before any other retailer in the UK so our customers can get their hands on these stunning new devices from Google.”
